Significance of the Establishment of the “Belt and Road” Holistic Integrative Oncology
Training Base of CACA
Enhancement of medical technology and level: There is a certain gap between the technical level of Southeast Asian countries in the field of medical oncology and that of the international community, so they can obtain China’s advanced technology and experience in diagnosis, treatment and research of tumors through the cooperation with CACA and St. Stamford Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou, so as to enhance the level of local medical technology and improve the efficacy of tumor patients.
- Talent cultivation and exchange
- The training base can cultivate more medical oncology professionals for Southeast Asian countries, which can help make up for the lack of local talents and improve the overall quality of the medical team. In addition, the exchange of talents can also promote the sharing of medical experience and cooperation between different countries.
- Promote effective prevention and treatment strategies
- CACA and St. Stamford Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou will share with Southeast Asian countries successful strategies and experiences in tumor prevention and treatment, including early diagnosis, health education, preventive measures, etc. This will help Southeast Asian countries to formulate more effective tumor prevention and treatment policies to reduce morbidity and mortality.
- Promote research and innovation
- The field of medical oncology requires continuous research and innovation to develop new treatments and drugs. The training base can provide opportunities for South-East Asian countries to participate in international collaborative research and promote the sharing of research results and the exchange of innovations.
