Different Stages of Cervical Cancer and Treatments
Cervical cancer is one of the most common malignant tumors in women, and its symptoms and treatment methods vary with the progression of the disease. Our hospital provides 18 advanced minimally invasive treatment methods that can effectively treat the symptoms of cervical cancer at different stages. Choosing minimally invasive treatment can not only reduce the patient's recovery time and pain after treatment, but also reduce the risk of complications, and improve prognosis.
Early Stage of Cervical Cancer
In the early stages (stages I and II), cervical cancer may have no obvious symptoms, and many women may not notice anything unusual at this time.

Treatment for Early Stage

Patients who have poor responses to traditional treatments, who are unable to undergo surgery, and those who have recurrence or metastasis can choose cryotherapy.

Cryotherapy

Cryotherapy“Extreme cold”+“extreme hot”treatment. Ultra-low temperature freezes the tumor into an ice ball, causing coagulative necrosis of the tumor cells, and then rapidly heats the tumor tissue to thaw and explode it. No surgery required, small incision, few side effects. Suitable for early treatment of cervical cancer.
Cryotherapy
Mid-stage of Cervical cancer
As the cancer progresses, symptoms may begin to appear, including:
  •       *Abnormal vaginal bleeding
  •       *Abnormal vaginal discharge
  •       *Pelvic pain

Treatment for Mid-Stage

For cervical cancer patients who cannot undergo surgery and chemotherapy, minimally invasive interventional therapy can be given priority.

Interventional Therapy

Drugs are directly given to the tumor site through blood vessels, and drugs can directly treat tumor cells, with more direct and faster effects and less harm to the human body.
Interventioanl Therapy
Advanced Stage of Cervical Cancer
In the advanced stages (stages III and IV), symptoms may become more pronounced and severe:
  •       *Severe pelvic pain
  •       *Problems with urination and defecation
  •       *Fatigue and weakness
  •       *Swelling

Treatments for Advanced Stage

For patients with cervical cancer who are unable to undergo surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy, or have a poor prognosis, Targeted Therapy Combining Chinese and Western Medicine targeting and seed implantation can be selected.

Minimally Invasive Targeted Therapy Combining Chinese and Western Medicine

The combination of Traditional Chinese Medicine and minimally invasive targeted treatment complements the strengths of the two medicines, making the effect of combined treatment better than any single treatment. Comprehensive treatment is adopted for different stages of cervical cancer. No surgery is required, cervical tissue can be preserved, tumors are killed in a targeted manner, and damage to the body is minimized. In addition, Chinese medicine svstematicallv to combat cancer, enhance immunity. This achieves the effect of 1+1>2. Minimally Invasive Targeted Therapy Combining Chinese and Western Medicine can improve treatment prognosis and prevent recurrence and metastasis.

Particle Implantation
The particles are placed directly into the possible path of the tumor or metastatic tissue. The implanted particles will continuously emit γ rays in the tumor, accurately targeting cancer cells. 2 mm minimally invasive, no need for resection, no need for radiotherapy or chemotherapy, retaining cervical tissue, good efficacy and fast recovery, reducing the risk of metastasis and recurrence.

Treatment Cases of Cervical Cancer Patients
They come from different countries yet share a common experience: the torment of cancer. Fortunately, with effective treatment and careful nursing at St. Stamford Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou, they fight against cancer bravely and now have regained their confidence in life. Here, they share their journeys in the fight against cancer.
Edoharidwi Doko -Indonesia

Edoharidwi Doko from Surabaya, Indonesia, experienced abnormal vaginal bleeding in 2022, and was diagnosed with stage IIIB cervical cancer. She underwent more than 30 grueling sessions of radiotherapy and chemotherapy at the local hospital, but she received devastating news in December 2023: the tumor had recurred and metastasized to the abdominal cavity. The doctor suggested chemoradiotherapy again, but with the painful treatment a year earlier still fresh in her mind, she refused!

In January this year, she came to our hospital for treatment. The multidisciplinary consultation team developed an individualized diagnosis and treatment plan for her based on her condition: interventional therapy, natural therapy, and targeted therapy with Chinese and Western medicine. After two cycles of treatment, the abdominal tumor had shrunk significantly. The tumor marker dropped rapidly in just one month and has returned to normal levels. Today, the abdominal tumor has disappeared, and symptoms such as abnormal vaginal bleeding have resolved.

Weiji - Thailand

Weiji, from Thailand, was diagnosed with stage III cervical cancer in March 2023. The effect of complete resection surgery was not satisfactory. The postoperative pathological results showed: multiple lymph node metastasis on the left pelvic wall. The local doctor suggested that Wei Ji continue to undergo 6 chemotherapy and 33 radiotherapy, but Weiji refused.

In May 2023, Weiji was admitted to the hospital for treatment. MDT formulated a minimally invasive comprehensive treatment plan based on "interventional therapy + natural therapy". After 3 months of treatment, CT scans showed no presence of the tumor, and Weiji's condition was basically stable.

Feifei -Indonesia

Feifei, from Indonesia, was diagnosed with stage IB cervical cancer during a physical examination in October 2016. Feifei underwent a second examination at a hospital in Singapore, and the doctor recommended chemotherapy. Considering that the side effects of chemotherapy would affect the quality of life, Feifei refused chemotherapy.

In December 2016, the cancer progressed unexpectedly. Cervical cancer had deteriorated to stage IV (tumor size was about 6.2cm x 3.7cm) and spread to the rectum, liver and bladder. Our hospital's MDT team developed a treatment plan for Feifei: interventional therapy + natural therapy. After the first interventional therapy, Feifei’s condition improved a lot. She returned to Indonesia and continued to exercise, ride and travel like a normal person. In June 2017, Feifei returned to the hospital for a follow-up examination as usual. CT showed that the cancer cells had almost lost their activity, and all indicators were close to normal.
