Patients and their families from Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, the Netherlands, Mongolia, and other countries gathered with hospital staff to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival. The joyful festival atmosphere and spectacular performances enriched the lives of foreign in-patients, allowing them to experience the cultural atmosphere of traditional Chinese festivals and feel the care and blessings of the hospital staff. The performances were even more exciting, including the ethnic dance performed by the nurses in the minimally invasive room, which was full of energy and instantly lit up the joyful atmosphere. The Mid-Autumn Festival Celebration kicked off.



Special guest performances, including the pipa solo pieces “Beautiful Night” and “May We All Be Blessed with Longevity,” as well as the guitar performance and singing of “The Moon Over the West Tower,” brought us the joy and deep emotions of the Mid-Autumn Festival.




The translation team’s young ladies delivered a lively and empowering rendition of the song “Manusia Kuat,” filled with energy, strength, and courage. It brought encouragement to the patients and elevated the event to its peak.



The most touching moment was when Ms. Gan, an Indonesian patient, performed “The Moon Represents My Heart.” Patients and medical staff from various countries joined her on stage to sing together, creating a heartwarming and emotional atmosphere. The joint performance by both patients and medical staff deepened the warmth and connection of the event.

 


Games rooted in traditional Chinese culture brought joy to everyone


To help patients experience traditional Chinese culture, this event featured a variety of interactive activities and games representative of Chinese heritage, such as Baduanjin Qigong, Chinese calligraphy, lantern-making, mooncake-making, and pitch-pot (touhu) games. These activities not only highlighted Chinese cultural traditions but also incorporated the festive spirit of the Mid-Autumn Festival. They were highly appreciated by international patients and their families, who participated enthusiastically, creating a lively and vibrant atmosphere.
