Director Pan introduced interventional therapy in detail including category, method, operational process etc. He indicated that interventional therapy was widely used in cancer diagnosis and treatment, having advantages of small trauma, fast recovery, good effect, etc. It just needs a 1-2 millimeter incision on the skin, then chemotherapeutic drugs are injected into the tumor by a special tube, and the drug concentration is increased by 2-8 times. And then, the embolization therapy is conducted. The blood vessels that supply for the tumor are obstructed to make the tumor lose blood supply and die.
Patients and their family members were listening carefully.

Director Pan said that cancer patients should eat mild food instead of cold, spicy or those foods contain food additives. Director Pan also told the audiences a simple and effective prescription: take scutellaria barbata and Oldenlandia diffusa each 50-100 grams, and add some water to cook. It has the function of anti-cancer if drink for long time. During the free chat time, patients and their families ate fruit, greeted and communicated with each other. *Surgery, in addition to the appropriate chemotherapy and radiotherapy, are effective in treating early cancer, but certain patients in late stage of cancer may not be tolerate surgery well as they can be relatively weak. A combination of carefully planned minimally invasive therapy, chemotherapy or radiotherapy can effectively reduce the side effects and discomfort of treatment and may help patient get better efficacy.
