Lung cancer, which occurs in the bronchial mucosal epithelium, is also called bronchial carcinoma. In recent 50 years, reports on the incidence of lung cancer are significantly increased in many countries. Lung cancer even ranks the first among all cancers that may occur to male patients. The etiology of lung cancer is still not completely certified now, but large amounts of datum indicate that long-term smoking is one of the important pathogenic factors causing lung cancer. Results analysis:

Less than 7 scores: Risk degree is low, regular physical examination may be enough to detect the patient’s condition.

7 to 12 scores: Low to middle degree, chest CT scans or lateral projection is recommended to do when having regular check ups.

13 to 18 scores: Middle to high degree, chest CT scans or lateral projection is also suggested to do in addition to regular examinations.

More than 18 scores: High dangerous degree, chest low-dose spiral CT scan should be applied besides the above mentioned examinations.

*Surgery, in addition to the appropriate chemotherapy and radiotherapy, are effective in treating early cancer, but certain patients in late stage of cancer may not be tolerate surgery well as they can be relatively weak. A combination of carefully planned minimally invasive therapy, chemotherapy or radiotherapy can effectively reduce the side effects and discomfort of treatment and may help patient get better efficacy.
